The ski area Kappe is directly connected to Skiliftkarussell Winterberg and forms part of it. It offers you the perfect starting point for exploring the diverse slopes of the Sauerland. The Winterberger Kappe has three modern lifts, including two chair lifts and a conveyor belt, to bring you and the other winter sports enthusiasts safely back up the mountain. A total of seven downhill runs lead to the lifts in all possible degrees of difficulty from easy to difficult. One piste is even a special toboggan run. You will also find the Panorama Café - Restaurant, which invites you to stay a while, and the Brabander Ski School. Thanks to artificial snowmaking everything is done to offer you as many skiing days as possible in the family ski area Kappe .
The ski area Kappe is part of the Winterberg ski lift carousel and includes

IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS (BLUE=LIGHT & RED=MEDIUM)
The Käppchenhang is not only a connecting lift between Kappe and Schneewittchen, but above all the perfect slope for beginners and advanced skiers. Due to the wide slope with different gradients, everyone gets their skiing fun here!
FOREST DIRECTION
LONGEST DESCENT (BLUE = EASY)
The forest run is with 1200 meters the longest run of the skiing area Kappe. The easy slope is also suitable for families. The forest run has been designed extra wide and offers beginners enough space to improve their skiing technique.
PANORAMIC ANNEX
MAGNIFICENT VIEW (RED = MEDIUM DIFFICULTY)
The versatile downhill run is pure pleasure for skiers. 800 meters of downhill run offer a magnificent view over the snow-covered mountain world in the ski area Kappe.
SLALOMHANG
CHALLENGING DOWNHILL (BLACK = DIFFICULT)
The 600 metre long slalom slope is the most demanding descent of the ski area and a challenge even for experienced recreational skiers and professionals, as this is the steepest descent north of the Alps.
A modern 6-seater chairlift transports visitors to the forest run, the panoramic slope and the slalom slope back up. The 4-seater chair lift "Panoramabahn" is located on the easily skiable Käppchen slope and forms the connection between the ski area Kappe and the ski area Bremberg.
So don't wait long, but come directly to the Sauerland for skiing. In the Winterberg ski area Kappe there is also a branch of the ski rental Brinkmann waiting for you, where you can rent your skis quickly and easily - already from home!
