Purpose and legal basis of processing

Purpose A: We collect your data in connection with the rental of ski equipment in accordance with the consents you have given us.

Purpose B: We collect your data in connection with the purchase of your ski pass in accordance with your consent. For example, we ask whether we may keep your personal data beyond the expiration of your ski pass. This enables an accelerated purchase of a new ski pass in the following season.

We process the data of our guests and interested parties for the preparation of offers, as well as for the settlement of services rendered and goods received.

In order to maintain our house rights and to prevent accidents, we also carry out video surveillance of the entry and exit areas at the mountain and valley stations.

Explanation of the legitimate interests

Video camera recording is intended to comply with security regulations for the protection of our visitors as well as the company. These require, among other things, that the area you enter be monitored by video. If necessary, the recordings are used to clarify accidents.

Recipient of the data
Purpose A: The data we have collected in the course of booking your ski equipment will be passed on to our contractual partner Rentmaxx (provision of the booking portal). To ensure the security of your data, we have concluded an order processing contract with Rentmaxx.

Purpose B: The data we have collected in the course of booking your ski pass will be passed on to the other lift operators in the area of the ski lift carousel Winterberg in order to ensure the use of the connected ski lifts.

Furthermore, a backup of our database is hosted in the data center of SKIDATA Schweiz AG in Kriessern.

Duration of storage
